Join us on the National Day on Writing (October 20th) for our fourth annual Writing on the Edge conference for adjunct and contingent faculty.  The theme, “Composing Beyond Boundaries,” highlights writing across the curriculum, and we invite faculty from all disciplines to join in the conversation.  We are excited to  open up our conference to all contingent faculty in any discipline who what to improve their writing and help their students to write and think critically.

We have an exciting group of sessions that focus on all aspects of writing across the curriculum including improving students’ analysis with legal writing tools, bridging the gap between secondary school and college writing programs, publishing your own writing as adjuncts, preparing assignments to increase students’ digital literacy, working with ESL and adult students, the roles of the writing center and the library, and how to get into the adjunct business.  Writing on the Edge is the ONLY regional conference about writing by and for adjunct and contingent faculty in the Midwest.
