WOTE is back, and this time it’s virtual!

After a year off from the pandemic, we are excited to welcome everyone back this year. Join us for our sixth annual Writing on the Edge conference for adjunct and contingent faculty. We are going to look at post-pandemic pedagogy.  What have you learned about your teaching, your students and yourself during the pandemic?  What do you plan to continue doing once the pandemic is over? How has the pandemic made you re-think your teaching and learning strategies? Because College of DuPage will still be socially distanced in the fall, we will be holding the conference virtually over Zoom.  And the best part: it’s free this year!

Originally designed by adjuncts in the English Department, Writing on the Edge now looks at writing across the curriculum and invites other disciplines to join the conversation of how to increase learning for students no matter the subject matter.  We continue to stay true to our roots of providing good, inexpensive professional development for adjuncts and contingent faculty, while also welcoming any faculty or staff looking to learn more about teaching.

Writing on the Edge is the only regional conference by and for adjunct and contingent faculty in the Midwest.

We are excited to announce our Keynote Speaker

Professor Josh Eyler
